Who We Are
Pete Johnson (Managing Director) founded LFS in 2008 after a 10 year career as a cotton trader for Weil Brothers Cotton. Pete was the Australian general manager for Weil – a role that saw him trading Australian cotton (and other origins) predominantly into China, South East Asia and Sub Continent markets, building strong market acumen and lasting domestic and international trade relationships. Pete served as chair of the Australian Cotton Shippers Association from 2007 to 2008. He continues to serve on voluntary bodies across the grain and cotton industries.

Pep Geldard (Cash Broker) has 10 years experience working in the Agriculture sector with roles comprising logistics, grain accumulation, and import & export of feed grains (primarily New Zealand market). In 2013, she graduated from the University of Southern Queenland with a Bachelor of Commerce. Currently she owns and operates a cereal grain and livestock farm on the Darling Downs.
Emma Johnson (Grower Services assistant) is currently studying a Bachelor of Business (Marketing)/Bachelor of Behavioural Science (Psychology) at QUT. Her role in business includes:
